About Ikigai Studio Art

Ikigai Studio Art is a voice and sound practice studio dedicated to guiding clients into states of resonance and stillness. Through voice therapy, sound, breath and movement, we create a safe environment that helps the nervous system move from freeze-fight-or-flight into grounding, presence and body awareness.

The studio offers two intertwined pathways:

Group Voice Practices Therapy Research follows the methodology of the British Sound Academy as a complementary vocal therapy, combining therapeutic sound and voice practices with mindfulness and reflective self-awareness.

Group Voice Practices for Creative Flow uses voice, breath, movement, deep listening, improvisation and creative exercises to help participants access greater spontaneity, self-expression and creative confidence — not as a singing technique, but as a tool for presence, play and exploration.

Our sessions are open to anyone curious to try, whether you are navigating health issues, seeking relaxation, exploring creativity, or simply drawn to stillness. Active participation is at the heart of the Ikigai approach: you are involved in your own process of exploration and discovery, and you are always welcome to choose what feels right for you.

Ikigai Studio Art is built and facilitated by a practitioner graduating through the British Sound Academy. The Ikigai studio art blends a developing therapeutic practice with an artistic, experiential sensibility — creating a space where modern, overstimulated lives can reconnect with silence, reflection and the wisdom of the body.
